Wow, whata movie. Translated in English as Fears of the Dark, it's an old french animation from 2007 that's starting to get limited release in the US.
Think comic book inspired animation, mixed with dark themes. Some of the movie veers off into twisted and LSD inspired states of mind, but for the most part, the plots are sensible.
I highly recommend it to people who love animation, is into intellectual, off the cuff, left field stuff.
